Joyce A. Strawser

Joyce A. Strawser is dean of the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University, a position she has held since 2012. Strawser joined the Seton Hall faculty in 1995 and has taught courses in many of the subfields of accounting, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. As a faculty member, Strawser earned awards for her excellence in teaching and service to students.
Strawser has provided advice to business schools seeking to develop learning outcomes assessment programs and has made numerous conference presentations on program outcomes assessment and business school accreditation.
Strawser joined the °®Âþµº board in 2019, and she currently serves as chair of its Initial Accreditation Committee. She is one of 16 business school deans around the world to have served on °®Âþµº’s Business Accreditation Task Force, which was charged with reimagining business school accreditation and developing the 2020 business accreditation standards. Strawser is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma board of governors.
Strawser earned a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University and a PhD in accounting from Louisiana State University.
