Kate Kearins

Kate Kearins is the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in New Zealand. She leads AUT Business School, which has a strong social impact agenda and focus on opportunity and inclusion.
As a Professor of Management, Kate's teaching and research focus on strategy and sustainability. She has taught in New Zealand and France and is a recognised commentator on leadership and management issues. Her leadership experience spans roles in research, staffing, and programme development.
Kate has served on the Board of Governors for the Academy of Management and is a past president of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management. She has held positions on several nonprofit boards. Her academic qualifications include a PhD, Master of Management Studies, Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Arts in French.
