This one-day, hands-on workshop is designed for business school professionals seeking to harness the power of AI to boost efficiency. The day begins with a deep dive into how AI-driven tools can streamline accreditation processes, demonstrating prompt engineering techniques that enhance reporting and compliance. Next, participants will engage in practical demonstrations of AI applications for administrative tasks, helping you optimize daily workflows, generate tailored communications, and improve decision-making efficiency. Attendees will leave equipped with actionable strategies and hands-on experience to leverage AI across accreditation and administration.
Facilitators
Dr. Stephanie M. Bryant is the Executive Vice President and Global Chief Accreditation Officer of °®Âþµº International. She served as Dean of the College of Business at Missouri State University for 6-1/2 years and was previously the Director of the University of South Florida School of Accountancy. She received her Ph.D. and B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University and is a Louisiana CPA (inactive). Dr. Bryant specializes in accounting information systems, and previously worked for KPMG Peat Marwick. Dr. Bryant has co-authored two accounting textbooks, and over 30 academic articles and has won nine teaching awards. She served as the 2005-2006 national President of the American Accounting Association Information Systems Section. She also served as the 2006-2009 International President of Beta Alpha Psi.
Dr. Tawnya Means is the Assistant Dean for Educational Innovation at Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She leads the development and implementation of innovative ideas, technologies, and approaches across the College's educational portfolio. With 20+ years of experience in higher education, course design, and educational consulting, Tawnya has led teaching and learning teams and taught courses in entrepreneurship, strategy, technology, and leadership in remote teams. Her research interests include online and blended learning, active learning, learning space design, technology innovation, access to digital learning resources, generative AI for education, and faculty preparation to teach.
